Portland, Ore. – A new nationwide study on drunk driving has some bad news for the Pacific Northwest. Oregon is one of only six states in the country to see an increase in drunk driving fatalities in the last 20 years. The website Quote Wizard crunched the numbers from each state’s Drive Sober of Get Pulled Over DUI Campaign. Overall DUI deaths are down 18 percent in the U.S. Seattle has seen a 10 percent decrease in DUI arrests since Uber launched there. DUI crashes were down in California by six and a half percent.
