One Dead, Two Wounded In Old Town Shooting

PORTLAND, Ore. — One person was shot and killed and two others were wounded on Friday night in the Old Town district.
The shooting happened near Northwest 5th and Couch Street around 9:30pm.
The man who died is identified as 19-year-old Lauren Abbott Jr. The other people wounded are expected to survive.
Police have not made any arrests.
This is Portland’s 52nd homicide of the year. There have been at least 750 shootings in the city so far that have wounded well over 125 people.
