Older Kids Need Some Holiday Love!

Mariposa Mission is a new non-profit in Clark County that focuses on kids aged 10-14, what they call the “In-BeTWEENS”.   It’s only been around for a short time, so it’s been hard for founder Helen Dashiell to get the word out that they need holiday gifts for the kids. I talked to her on Friday and they’d only had TWO donations.  You can drop off gifts at Master Thinkers on East First in East Vancouver, or Forever Growing Kids in Camas.  There is also a link on Amazon where you can select some suggested items for the kids and send them directly to Mariposa Mission.

I talked to Dashiell about their gift drive and you can hear that here:

The idea is that kids who say they’re too big for gifts under the tree, actually really want them.  To donate online through Amazon you can click this link
