Mutual Combat

Portland Ore – Portland’s mayor took time to respond to reports that the police bureau were advised not to make arrests during violent street brawls in downtown Portland.The mayor said the issue is the notion that Oregon law allows for people to be engaged in so-called “mutual combat.” The Mayor says if there isn’t a law against it there should be. It turns out there is a law against fighting in public.
