Man Dead After Reported Shooting In NE Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — A man was found dead after a shooting in Northeast Portland late Monday night.

Officers were called to Northeast Ivy Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard around 11:00pm.

The man’s family created a memorial of flowers and candles at the scene.  His mom says it was her son, 31-year-old Rivero Francisco, who died on the sidewalk.  She says he left home for a walk, but didn’t come back home.

This is the city’s 4th homicide this month.
