VANCOUVER,  Wa.—  Governor Jay Inslee chose Vancouver City Council Chambers to sign House Bill 1638 into law.  It says all children need to be vaccinated for Measles, Mumps, and Rubella if they are going to attend school.  this past Winter and Spring the governor had to call a state of emergency because some students had the measles in Clark County .  The public health officer comments at least 800 students had to be excluded from classes.  the situation reached epidemic proportions.  Some parents strongly disagreed with the legislation.  They held signs quietly outside Vancouver city hall.
