Homicide Investigation Initiated In Hazelwood Neighborhood
Portland, Ore. — A homicide investigation is currently underway in the Hazelwood Neighborhood following a reported stabbing incident on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at around 12:40 p.m. Officers from East Precinct responded to the incident located at Northeast Glisan Street and Northeast 126th Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers discovered an adult male deceased inside a residence. As of now, no arrests have been made, and no individuals have been detained in connection with the incident.
Homicide detectives have been deployed to the scene, although the investigation is still in its early stages. Detectives have stated that, at this point, there is no perceived ongoing threat to the public.
