Crews Tackle Two Sewage Flows

PORTLAND, Ore. — Sewage overflows in two different parts of Portland kept crews from the Bureau of Environmental Services busy Wednesday afternoon.

The first was in the Target parking lot at the Janzen Beach Shopping Center.  Crews say the overflow came from a private sewer line.

The second instance was at Adventist Health Medical Center near SE Market Street and I-205.

In both cases, the cause is unknown and is the responsibility of the property owners.  The bureau says the cases are unrelated.
