2 Alarm Fire At A Northwest Portland High Rise

PORTLAND, Ore–  Tenants of Block 17 apartments on 12th and Overton heard sirens loud and clear just before 5 A.M. this morning.  Over 2 dozens units responded to the scene.  When teams of firefighters arrived , they found patio furniture burning on the roof top.  Crews were able to extinguish the fire quickly.

Nobody was hurt.  The building was not evacuated.  The cause of the fire has not been determined.
