10 Day Murder Trial Scheduled In Linn County

ALBANY, Ore. – A 10-day murder trial in Linn County is now on the schedule for March 29th.
27-year-old Page Butterfield is accused of killing 43-year-old Corey Burdick and wounding 65-year-old Ervin Smith in a shooting in Sweet Home on May 24th, 2019.
He was arrested two days later in Sisters.
Butterfield is already behind bars.
Last August he was sentenced to 18 months in prison for possessing a stolen car and giving false information to police.
