Corvallis, Or. –  OSU has alerted students someone’s been taking videos of women’s backsides as they walk on campus. University Vice President Steve Clark says  two community members discovered more than 50 videos on an adult website and  contacted the campus public safety office. The school sent out a notice urging people to be  aware of a person pushing a silver blue mountain bike and  appearing to use a cell phone to take pictures of  people walking.

He says  It’s not illegal to take the videos, but he says “it’s not appropriate and it’s just down right creepy.” He says OSU has an iconic campus and the individuals who found these videos on the website were a little bit embarrassed to report they had seen them, but thought it was important to do that. He says ” sure enough when we were made aware of this yesterday we could see building as and campus locations were clearly identifiable as Oregon State. Meanwhile, none of the images of people could identify an individual.”

He says  he thinks its appropriate for them to reach out to  the website today, “but I do not believe they will remove them because, again they are not illegal. They’re not explicit sexually.”
