REPORT: COVID-19 Cases In Young People Increasing

PORTLAND, Ore. – A new report from the Oregon Health Authority finds that just over 10 percent of all COVID-19 cases in Oregon are people under the age of 18.
That’s a sharp increase from earlier in the pandemic.
The OHA says only 1.5 percent of young patients have been hospitalized by the virus.
That’s compared to 9.7 percent of adults.
