Pedestrian Hit, Killed On NW 185th In Hillsboro

Hillsboro, Ore. – New update from  Hillsboro Police Dept. At 4:38 a.m., officers responded to a crash involving a pedestrian on Northwest 185th Avenue. The crash happened near an unnamed business-access intersection located between Northeast Walker Road and Northeast Holly Street. A man crossed 185th Avenue, and a southbound car struck him. The man died at the scene. The driver remained at the scene. The crash is under investigation by the Washington County Crash Analysis Reconstruction Team. Southbound Northwest 185th Avenue remains closed.

A pedestrian was hit and killed this morning on a busy road in Hillsboro. It happened on Northwest 185th southbound at Walker road. Police have NW 185th shutdown there for the investigation. The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating. Drivers will need to use an alternate route like NW 158th to get around the closure.
