Oregon’s Weekly COVID-19 Report Shows Increases In Daily Cases and Hospitalizations

PORTLAND, Ore. – The Oregon Health Authority’s weekly COVID-19 report released Wednesday shows an increase in new daily cases and hospitalizations, along with a decrease in virus-related deaths.

Between Monday, July 5th, and Sunday, July 11th, cases rose by 11 percent from the week before.

Hospitalizations jumped from 66 to 104.

Virus-related deaths, however, dropped from 19 to 15.

The state’s percentage of positive tests was up from 2.9 percent to 3.4 percent.
