WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT
TO 10 PM PST THURSDAY…

* WHAT…Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 8
inches expected.

* WHERE…In Washington, Central Columbia River Gorge. In
Oregon, Upper Hood River Valley and Central Columbia River
Gorge.

* WHEN…From midnight tonight to 10 PM PST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Plan on slippery road conditions. The
hazardous conditions could impact travel.

* CONFIDENCE IN THIS EVENT…Moderate to high. There is a chance
temperatures will warm to just above freezing early Thursday
evening, a little sooner than expected. This would result in
slightly lower snowfall totals.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency.
