UPDATE:Suspect arrested after Man injured in Portland Shooting Saturday

UPDATE:An alleged suspect was arrested in Vancouver for charges related to the shooting.

On Saturday officers found the suspect vehicle related to the shooting and followed it as it drove on I-5 into Washington State.

The Vancouver Police Department responded to assist and stopped the car on i-5 at about Northeast 78th Street in Hazel Dell.

35 year old Jaron Mulkey was arrested.

Saturday morning, officers responded to a report of someone shot near North Midway Avenue and North Richards Street.

Officers say when they arrived they found a man suffering from gunshot injuries.

The man was taken to a hospital for injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

The suspect was said have left before police were called.
