Man Found Dead At Homeless Camp Was Shot & Killed

PORTLAND, Ore. — A missing person report turned into a homicide investigation when a man was found dead at a homeless camp in North Portland last month.

71-year-old Richard Walloch was last seen in Southwest Portland in early February.  His body was found on February 10th at a homeless camp in the Overlook neighborhood.

The medical examiner has ruled that Walloch was shot and killed.

Portland now has 21 homicides on the books for the year.
