Portland Ore – Mayor Ted Wheeler met with Eugene city officials, including Mayor Lucy Vinis, to highlight what Portland is doing to combat the homeless crisis.
They toured Portland’s new River District Navigation Center near the Broadway Bridge on NW Naito Parkway.
The center, which opened in 2019, provides clean beds, case management, addiction treatment and other services for up to 100 adults.
