Getting Caffeinated in the Northwest is Easy!

Northwesterners LOVE to get their caffeine on! There are more than 200 specialty coffee shops and micro-roasters throughout Oregon alone, including 80 roasters in Portland. At this weekend’s Specialty Coffee Show, Veronica talked to a couple of start-ups that have done really well.  Steeped Coffee was started in 2017 when surfer Josh Wilbur wanted to be able to take his coffee with him everywhere he went.   He launched a Kickstarter campaign, looking for $37,000, and instead, investors came through with $1.4 million!   You can hear the story here:

The Specialty Coffee Show at the Convention Center is full of coffee and tea roasters giving out samples to the public each time it comes to the city.
