Dame Wins NBA Cares Award For April

PORTLAND, Ore. – A nice honor for Damian Lillard.

The Blazers superstar has won the NBA Cares Community Assist Award for April.

The NBA says Dame was chosen for several reasons, including for his work to empower young people across Portland through his RESPECT program.

The program has supported and celebrated students at McDaniel, Parkrose, and Roosevelt High Schools since 2012.
