Awesome Adley Goes #1

SHERWOOD, Ore. – Sherwood native, and Oregon State University superstar, Adley Rutschman, was selected first in the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft by the Baltimore Orioles.

The catcher becomes the first Beaver to be taken at the top of the draft and the second Oregonian. The only other is Greg Roberts, a Corvallis native drafted first by San Diego in 1972.

Rutschman leaves OSU as the Pac-12 and National Player of the Year.
