27th Annual Les Schwaub Invitational Scores Again

HILLSBORO, Ore. — For the 27th year in a row, top high school basketball teams have come together in the Portland Metro area to compete in a prestigious holiday tournament. And once again, this year’s LSI field and set of games did not disappoint. In the end, the #1 and #2 seeds from Miami, Florida and Studio City, California met in the final. Christopher Columbus got past Harvard-Westlake to take the 2023 title.

The Les Schwaub Invitational is now held exclusively at Liberty High School in Hillsboro.  It has really taken off over the years as nationally ranked schools featuring some of the best young talent in the nation have made their way to Oregon to compete.

John McCallum is the President of Prime Time Sports and co-founder of this event.  KXL’s Brett Reckamp caught up with John in between games, you can hear a portion of their conversation below.
