The Federal Government May Defund The City Of Portland
Washington, D.C. – According to a five page memo obtained by the New York Post, President Trump is ordering the federal government to begin the process of defunding four cities, including Portland. New York City, Washington DC, and Seattle also on the list of cities where officials allowed quote “lawless” protests the memo says. Attorney General Bill Barr has 14 days to develop a list of quote “anarchist jurisdictions.” The Post reports that Portland got more than 252 million in federal funds last year. CBS News has confirmed President Trump has directed the Office of Management and Budget to look into defunding cities like Seattle and Portland.

As for how much money we’re talking about, its about $7 BILLION for New York, while Portland got about $252 million dollars in 2019. A senior administration official told The Post that “President Trump is ensuring taxpayer dollars are not wasted by lawless mayors.”
