Snowy Thursday In Parts Of The Portland Area

Portland, Ore. — Some areas of the metro got a quick blast of winter early Thursday morning.  KGW Meteorologist Rod Hill says the threat of snow will likely end by 8:00 or 9:00 a.m. at the latest.  He expects increasing sunshine this afternoon with valley temperatures warming into the 40s. Winds today will be light to southeast 5-10 mph.

The snow has caused a few closures and delays in schools.  You can find a list of those HERE.
