Romeo Could Be the Tallest Steer in the U.S

Photo courtesy of Welcome Home Sanctuary there’s a steer named Romeo that’s making headlines.  He’s one tall guy.   Romeo is a rescue animal at the Welcome Home Animal Sanctuary in Creswell, Oregon.

He stands 6’3.   The tallest steer listed in the Guinness World Book of Records is Tommy in Massachusetts.  He’s only 6’1 though.   Romeo is six years old and came to Welcome Home when he was just ten days old.  Misty Moore is the founder of the farm.  She has about 80 animals right now and says the need is great.   Romeo alone eats 100 pounds of hay every day!  Donations are ALWAYS welcome!
