Missouri Man Charged With Terrorist Threat for Licking Items at Walmart

A 26-year-old Missouri man was charged with making a terrorist threat after he filmed and uploaded video of himself licking things at Walmart. “Who’s afraid of the coronavirus?” Warrenton resident Cody Pfister said at one point during his licking spree. The video naturally went global, as police said people in the Netherlands, Ireland and the UK reached out to express concern (and, presumably, outrage).

“We take these complaints very seriously and would like to thank all of those who reported the video so the issue could be addressed,” police said in a statement. According to the Riverfront Times, Pfister was arrested and charged with a “low-level felony” this week.
