Gresham Robbery Suspects Found After Lengthy Search

Gresham, Ore. — A four-hour search in a Southwest Gresham neighborhood concluded with the apprehension of three robbery suspects. The incident began when officers responded to a report of an assault and robbery in the 300 block of SW Eastman Pkwy at around 8:15 p.m Monday. Upon arrival, it was revealed that three suspects had assaulted and robbed a woman after she opened the garage door of her residence.

Additional officers were deployed to surround the area, while a shift sergeant organized a search for the suspects. The victim was taken to an area hospital for treatment of her injuries.

Throughout the night, a Gresham Police canine officer and a Multnomah County Sheriff’s Office canine deputy conducted a thorough search of the neighborhood for the suspects. Gresham UAS (drone) officers provided aerial surveillance support during the search efforts.

Two juvenile suspects were found hiding in the backyard of a residence within the area, while a third juvenile suspect was located nearby shortly thereafter. The search concluded around 1:00 a.m Tuesday.
