Portland, Ore. – The family of the man who recently died at the Oregon Zoo has hired a Portland Law firm to investigate the death. 62-year-old Carl Ross Sr. and a friend went to see the George Clinton and P-Funk concert last Saturday. Relatives tell Oregonlive the friend reported Ross missing to Zoo security that night. Two days later a worker discovered his body in a new area that’s under construction. It’s unclear how Ross got into that area. The Zoo says it was not accessible from the concert lawn and it was surrounded by fencing. The family is asking anyone who may know something to please come forward.
