Early Morning Fire At Tualatin Recycling Business Grimms Fuel

Tualatin, Oregon – A fire broke out early this morning in Tualatin at Grimms Fuel, a wood recycling business just off Highway 99W. Tualatin Valley Fire and Rescue Captain Tim Nokes says the fire was raging when they arrived just after 3-am. Crews had the fire knocked down within about 20 minutes and kept it contained to just the one building. No one was hurt. No cause yet on the fire. Grimms Fuel handles recycled wood material and sells that mulch to the public.
Fire in Tualatin was confined to a metal out building at this location with no extension into nearby structures. Firefighters are clearing the scene shortly. A TVFR fire investigator is on scene to determine the cause. pic.twitter.com/biKGaawsrT
