Domestic Violence Suspect Shot & Killed By Police In Tigard

TIGARD, Ore. — The man who was shot and killed by police in Tigard yesterday afternoon was wanted for domestic violence.

When officers tried to arrest 26-year-old Ryan Macduff at an apartment complex near Southwest Hall Blvd. and Bonita Road, police say he was armed with a knife and refused to surrender.

An officer shot Macduff during a struggle.  No officers were injured.

The Washington County Major Crimes Team is investigating.
