Woman Dies In Fall While Hiking

SKAMANIA, Wash. – A woman died in a fall in Skamania County last Saturday.
The Skamania County Sheriff’s Office says 54-year-old Debby Lail, of Camas, was hiking a trail near the access to Spirit Falls on the Little White Salmon River when she fell into the water and was injured.
She wasn’t able to get out on her own.
A person who saw Lail’s body called 911.
The Clark County Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
