Woman Dies After Incident At Barton Park on Clackamas River
Clackamas County, Ore. – It was a deadly day on the Clackamas River. Rescue crews were called to Barton Park around 4pm this afternoon to help three women in distress.
Good Samaritans at the park were able to pull one of the women out of the river before crews arrived. Sadly one of the women died. It’s unclear what exactly happened, but the case is being investigated. Check back for updates.
The Clackamas Co Water Rescue Consortium responded to a river rescue at 4 p.m. today on the Clackamas River at Barton Park. A good Samaritan who called 911 helped pull at least one of the subjects out of the water. At this point the death investigation will be handled by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and the Clackamas County Medical Examiner. @AMRMultCo transported one to an area hospital. The third person declined medical attention. pic.twitter.com/5fhvPLNOnt
