Woman Dead In Overnight Shooting On West Burnside

PORTLAND, Ore. — A woman was shot and killed late Thursday night in downtown Portland. This marks the 25th homicide of the year in the city.
Officers responded to Northwest 6th and West Burnside just after 10:00pm and attempted to save her life until paramedics arrived.
The victim has been identified as 33-year-old Jennifer Drain.
Police haven’t released information about a suspect and there has not been an arrest in the case.
