WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO
7 PM PDT TUESDAY...

* WHAT...East wind 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph.

* WHERE...In Washington, Greater Vancouver Area. In Oregon,
  Greater Portland Metro Area.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 7 PM PDT Tuesday. Peak wind
  period around 2 AM through 8 AM Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Tree limbs and a few large trees could be uprooted.
  Isolated to scattered power outages can be expected. High
  profile vehicles will be susceptible to strong and gusty cross
  wind, especially on Interstate 205 over the Glenn Jackson
  bridge.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.

 

Transportation Officials in Washington State are echoing the warning for drivers in heavy winds: Glenn Jackson Bridge, I-5/I-205 Vancouver-Portland metro area Late Monday night (just before midnight) until noon Tuesday Sustained winds of 20 to 30 mph; gusts of 40 to 45 mph are expected. High-profile vehicles and especially light-loaded or empty trailers should be particularly alert on the Glenn Jackson Bridge (I-205 on the WA/OR border.)
