Watch: Cpl. Jeremy Braun Talks One Year After Almost Being Killed In Shoot Out At Hagg Lake

Washington County, Ore. – August 8, 2020, marks one year since the officer-involved shooting incident where two Washington County Sheriff’s Office deputies were shot and wounded at Henry Hagg Lake. During the incident, Corporal Jeremy Braun was severely injured after getting shot in the face, neck, and upper body. Corporal Braun took the time to reflect on the past year, provide an update on his road to recovery, and share his goals for the future in a video update.

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office wishes to thank the law enforcement agencies, community members, and businesses’ who came together to support Corporal Braun and all the law enforcement officers involved in the shooting.
