Watch: Clerk Fired For Pulling Gun On Robber With Hatchet
Clackamas County, Oregon -A clerk at a Plaid Pantry store in Oak Grove is fired after he pulled a gun on a would-be robber. Surveillance video from April 28th shows the crook with a mask on demanding money with a hatchet. Christopher Follis was behind the counter. Follis tells the Lars Larson Show the mere sight of the .45 brought the suspect to his knees. He apologized and then took off. Follis has a concealed weapons permit, but Plaid Pantry has a strict no weapons policy for its employees. By the way, the guy who tried robbing the place with a hatchet, is still on the loose.
One KXL Listener emailed the newsroom offering to give the fired employee a new job. We’ve put them in contact with each other. We’ll keep you updated on any progress.
