HILLSBORO, Ore. – Sad news Wednesday from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
K-9 Cop Taz has died.
Taz worked as a narcotic detection dog from 2013 until this year.
During his career, he found 180 pounds of meth, 40 pounds each of heroin and cocaine and over $600,000 in narcotic proceeds.
Yesterday, K9 Taz was laid to rest with his family by his side. From 2013 – 2021 Taz had a remarkable career as a narcotic detection dog.
