VANCOUVER, Wash. — A fire that reportedly started in vegetation around the Pho Star restaurant spread to the building on Monday night.
Crews with Vancouver Fire were called to the restaurant on Mill Plain Blvd. at NE 102nd Avenue.
Firefighters used chain saws and hand tools to open an exterior wall and a thermal imaging camera to locate hot spots. A ventilator was used to clear the restaurant of smoke.
The cause is under investigation by the Vancouver Fire Marshal’s Office.
