Utah Family Almost Crushed By Falling Tree In Cannon Beach

Cannon Beach, Ore. – A family visiting the Oregon coast from Salt Lake City feels lucky to be alive after a tree fell on their campsite, just narrowly missing the tent where five kids were sleeping. The tree actually hit their van, that the parents were sleeping in, but no one was hurt. This happened Saturday night at Right’s Campground in Cannon Beach. The family tells News Partner KGW it was scary. The tree also hit a building with rest rooms at the campsite.
