USPS Mailbox Stolen, Primary Ballots May Be Lost

PORTLAND, Ore. — Election officials say a mailbox was stolen in Southeast Portland and they’re asking voters who used it to mail their ballot for Tuesday’s election to contact them.

The mailbox was located at Southeast Reed College Place and Woodstock Boulevard.  It was stolen sometime after the mail was picked up on the morning of May 4th.

Multnomah County officials ask that anyone who used the mailbox after 11:35am that day to contact them at 503-988-VOTE (8683) to check on the status of their ballot.

Voters can track their ballot online here.

The county is making replacement ballots available for pick-up for those whose ballots were stolen.
