University Of Oregon Board Names Patrick Phillips Interim President

EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon Board of Trustees Tuesday appointed Patrick Phillips as the school’s interim president.
Phillips is currently provost and senior voice president.
He takes over for Michael Schill, who’s leaving Eugene to become president of Northwestern.
The board says it will begin the search for a permanent president in its meeting next month.
