Unemployment Rate In Portland Reaches Pandemic Low

PORTLAND, Ore. – The unemployment rate in the Portland metro area was 3.5 percent in June.
That’s a new pandemic low.
Employers added about 5,400 jobs last month after adding 6,200 in May.
The region has now regained 96 percent of the jobs lost during the pandemic.
