Unemployment Rate In Portland Area At 4.1 Percent

PORTLAND, Ore. – The unemployment rate in the Portland Metro area rose slightly last month from 4.1 percent in January to 4.2 percent in February.
About 61,000 residents were unemployed, which is almost 9,000 more than a year ago.
Employers added about 800 jobs in February, but manufacturing and financial activities saw losses.
