U.S. Marshals Take Down Wanted Fugitive In North Portland

PORTLAND, Ore. — The United States Marshals Service Pacific Northwest Violent Offender Task Force was involved in a shooting on Tuesday afternoon in North Portland while arresting a wanted fugitive.

Authorities found 31-year-old Jonathan Crowley in a parked vehicle on North Newell Avenue at Lombard around 3:30pm.  He was shot when authorities say he used his vehicle to threaten law enforcement.

Crowley was wanted by the Oregon Department of Corrections and a warrant had been issued for his arrest.

No law enforcement officers were wounded in the shooting.
