Tyson Recalling 190-Thousand Pounds Of Chicken Over Plastic Concerns

(Springdale, AR) — Tyson Foods is recalling over 190-thousand pounds of chicken products over concerns they could contain plastic. Two customers reportedly found clear plastic, and soft gray plastic, inside of the company’s “golden crispy chicken chunk fritters.” Tyson says the products weren’t sold in retail stores and that they’re working with food service companies that received them via distribution. The chicken was shipped to 29 different states, including New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania.
