Man Wanted For Triple Murder, Captured


36-year-old Brent Luyster was arrested by Washington State Patrol Troopers and  Cowlitz County Sheriff deputies about 3:15 Saturday afternoon.  Luyster was found in the Gold Ford Explorer on the Ocean Beach Hwy and was taken into custody without incident. Detectives with the Clark County Regional Major Crimes Unit are continuing to investigate.  Detectives are still investigating the shooting.


Three people are dead after a shooting near Woodland after ten Friday night. Clark County Sheriff’s Deputies went to NW 417th Street and found the bodies. In addition, a woman with a gunshot wound to the face was taken to a hospital.
They have a suspect, 36-year-old Brent Luyster. He’s a white male, 200 pounds with a shaved head and tattoos, driving a gold Ford Explorer with a cargo rack, or a White Ford Explorer. He’s believed to be armed and dangerous.

And gunfire broke out at Waterfront Park just before 11 Friday night, near Southwest Morrison Street. Officers arrived and found a person suffering from a gunshot wound. They were taken to a hospital and are expected to be okay.
The shooting suspect is described as a black male in his 20s, 5’9 to 6’00 feet tall, wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans, and carrying a black backpack. Witnesses told police he was last seen running on Southwest 2nd Avenue and Washington Street.
