Terry Bean And Former Attorney Arrested

PORTLAND, Ore. – Prominent real estate developer and activist Terry Bean has been arrested. The 71-year-old was taken into custody in Portland Wednesday on a warrant out of Lane County.
Earlier in the day, his attorney was also arrested. Derek Ashton is accused of bribing a witness in a sex abuse case against Bean, his former client.

On Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at 4:00 p.m., members of the Portland Police Bureau’s Detective Coordination Team arrested 71-year-old Terry Bean. Mr. Bean’s arrest pertained to a Lane County Circuit Court warrant.
Mr. Bean was transported and lodged into the Multnomah County Detention Center a short time later.
