Teenage Pedestrian Hit by Car on Northeast 82nd Avenue

Portland, OR. — Police shut down the southbound lanes of 82nd Avenue for several hours after a teenage girl was struck by a vehicle. Officers found the teen at Northeast Jonesmore Street near the TriMet Max Station just after 6 p.m. Sunday evening. The girl was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
