Teen Reports Attempted Kidnapping In Washougal

WASHOUGAL, Wash. — A 13-year-old girl says a man chased her on her way home on Monday night and tried to grab a hold of her.

The teen says she was walking on 6th Street near C Street just before 7:30 when the man approached her.  She was able to get away and make it to safety.

The man is said to be white, about 40-years-old and 5’10”.  He was wearing a black Seahawks beanie hat, a dark brown jacket, blue pants and carrying a backpack with a small American flag attached.
