Stand-off In Sheridan

Sheridan, Or. – A tense stand-off continues in Sheridan. The Yamhill Valley News Register reports the suspect is a man and he’s armed with a hatchet and knifes. Police say one hostage has been removed from the home. This all started just before six o’clock this morning. The public works department in Sheridan has set up a detour for people who want to leave the area around NW Evans Street. Police from multiple agencies are on the scene.
